Os Coxae

The os coxae, or hip bone is made up of three bones which are fused together in adults. The superior portion of the os coxae is ilium bone, the lower posterior portion is the ischium bone, and the lower anterior portion is the pubic bone. The two os coxae, together with the sacrum create the pelvis.
